The U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges 2018 guidebook has once again ranked Dominican University of California as one of the top regional universities in the West. The U.S. News ranking is among a growing list of accolades earned by Dominican in the past year.
Dominican was ranked 30th out of 126 regional universities in the 13-state Western region, which includes California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Alaska. U.S. News incorporates criteria such as peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, and alumni giving.
In addition, U.S. News ranked Dominican 34th among regional universities in the west in the 鈥淏est Value Schools鈥 category. Dominican also received high marks in the 鈥淐ampus Ethnic Diversity鈥 category for regional universities in the west. Regional universities provide a full range of undergraduate and master's programs.
